Podiatrist Melissa Wawrzynek
I am a board-certified podiatrist by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. I established Advanced Foot & Ankle Wellness Center in 2013 after realizing that surgery and orthotics are not always the answer to solving foot pain issues. I understand the importance of keeping individuals of all ages and activity levels on their feet and active.
I constantly am researching and educating myself in order to learn new ways to help improve my patient's quality of life. I am a certified run coach, as well as a certified functional movement specialist.
As an avid Health and fitness enthusiast, I have a special interest in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of biomechanical issues of the foot and lower limb. My goal is to always fix the underlying cause of a problem instead of just putting a "temporary band-aid" on a problem. I understand the competitive nature of sports and the eagerness to resume normal activity. If you are seeking answers outside of conventional recommendations of surgery, make an appointment today.
When I am not in the office, I often will be found at the gym, spending time with my family, participating in local 5k races, or vacationing at Disney with my family.
Tell me about your needs, and together, we'll develop a plan to help you free yourself of pain.
